Orange Shoe Gym seeks motivated individuals who are dedicated to excellence with a track record of success and strong leadership qualities. Franchise partners should be team players who have previous business experience and are passionate about health and fitness.
- How much money do I need to open a franchise?
The cost of each unit varies by size and location. Individuals will need 40% of the total investment in non-borrowed personal resources (liquid assets such as cash, marketable securities, stocks, etc.) and an overall net worth of $200,000. Financing is to be obtained through a third-party lending source.
- How much are the royalty and continuing services fees?
Royalty and continuing services fees are 6% of gross sales. Contribution to the Marketing Production Fund is 2% of gross sales.
- How much money can I make?
Federal and state laws prohibit us from projecting how much money you can make by owning an Orange Shoe Gym. We encourage you to speak with current franchise partners during the application process regarding this matter. - How long does it take to open the gym once I have signed an agreement?
Time from agreement to opening varies depending on several factors including site selection, building requirements and training. It typically takes six to eight months after you sign the franchise agreement to open your gym doors.
- What kind of training can I expect?
New franchise partners will participate in a four week training program that includes three weeks at the Orange Shoe Gym Training Center in Madison, WI and one week of hands-on management experience in an existing franchised location. Franchise partners will continue to receive regularly updated training, including on site reviews.
- What kind of operations assistance do I get from Orange Shoe Gym after the opening?
Orange Shoe Gym provides franchise partners with ongoing training including program development, marketing assistance, business management training, technical training and new hire training. We also help identify other areas of business development and provide tools and training to implement these programs.
- What kind of assistance do I get when purchasing equipment for the gym?
Franchise partners benefit from existing agreements between Orange Shoe Gym and certain vendors, providing deep savings on equipment and retail products within their studios.
